Adam represents entrepreneurs, celebrities, artists and authors in protecting and licensing their brands, trademarks, trade secrets and methodologies. Having a strong litigation and commercial law background, Adam proactively minimizes risk for clients. His practice has a unique international character involving cross border deals between U.S. clients and parties in the United Kingdom, Hong Kong, Iceland, Israel, Jamaica, Japan and Sweden, among others.

Focus

Adam represents numerous brands before the United States Patent and Trademark Office. He is skilled in protecting his clients’ interests before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board, including in disputes involving complex issues such as foreign languages, rights of personality and celebrity surname significance. Adam’s clients are in the media, fitness, tech, entertainment, sports and food & beverage sectors.

Background & Education

Adam is licensed to practice law in New York State. He is also admitted to the United States Courts for the Eastern and Southern Districts of New York. Adam received his Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Michigan and his J.D. from the Yeshiva University’s Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law, where he placed as a quarter-finalist in their moot court competition. Adam played lacrosse for the University of Michigan Wolverines during their 1998 season.
