Alanna advises creative entrepreneurs and emerging businesses. She has a unique perspective on litigation, intellectual property disputes and conflict resolution due to her experiences while being a creative director and wardrobe stylist in her previous career. This gives her an edge in the way she thinks about resolving matters. Alanna has worked with large media companies such as Viacom and Louise Blouin Media and pro bono arts-related legal programs such as Volunteer Lawyers for the Arts.
Alanna litigates issues relating to small and medium sized businesses, including partner disputes, issues arising from commercial leases and with vendors, employment law litigation, and intellectual property litigation such as responses to cease and desists and copyright or trademark infringement. Alanna is passionate about finding ways to bridge the gap between law and creativity so as to empower entrepreneurs to make their dreams come to life.
Background & Education
As a Texas native, Alanna received her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Houston and is licensed to practice law in New York. She is a member of the New York City Bar, Volunteer Lawyers for the Arts and a mentor with the Practicing Attorneys for Law Students Program (PALS).
