Fran has more than two decades of experience counseling startups and large corporate clients as outside general counsel in commercial contracts and transactional law. She has experience in running a business, a skill that is an invaluable component when structuring deals for her clients. Fran is known as an expert negotiator among our clients.
In addition to negotiating and creating complex commercial contracts, Fran handles employee matters, commercial leases and startup funding. She also drafts consulting contracts, loan financing and acquisition documents, and licensing agreements. Fran also works on business formation and organization, and secured and unsecured financing.
In the areas of commercial finance transactions, Fran has represented both lenders and borrowers in multi-million dollar syndicated loan financings. She applies the organizational, drafting and negotiating skills she gained at the large law firm where she formerly practiced. Fran also works on intellectual property and other business issues.
Background & Education
Fran is licensed to practice law in New York State. She received her B.S. in Business from the State University of New York at Albany and J.D. from Fordham University School of Law where she was a member of the Fordham Law Review and graduated with honors.
