Russell advises on creating, capitalizing and growing emerging companies and commercial enterprises. His experience includes corporate transactions, technology law, advertising and licensing, regulatory compliance, securities, private equity, venture capital, and the negotiation and drafting of commercial contracts and IT agreements.

Prior to joining the firm, Russell worked in the M&A and Technology Transactions departments at Wilmer Hale, and in venture capital, as an in-house attorney, at Citibank. He started his career as a corporate associate at Gibson Dunn, where he was an attorney in the M&A group after graduating from Columbia Law School.
