Sejal works with startup companies, small to medium sized businesses, and artists spanning a variety of industries including finance, technology, luxury goods, fashion, food and beverage, fitness, and retail. She counsels her clients on intellectual property, business strategies, and general corporate matters.
Sejal’s intellectual property practice primarily focuses on trademark clearance and prosecution (searches, opinion letters, filing, prosecution, appeals and maintenance of applications and registrations), opposition and cancellation proceedings, and enforcement. She also represents clients in intellectual property licensing deals, coexistence and consent agreements, trademark infringement disputes, and international trademark matters.
Sejal also drafts and negotiates various commercial contracts including NDAs, manufacturing and licensing agreements, Terms of Service and Privacy Policies, Payments Terms, and Independent Contractor and Consulting Agreements.
Background & Education
Sejal is licensed to practice law in New York State. She received her J.D. from Fordham University School of Law, where she also served as Notes & Articles Editor of the Fordham Intellectual Property, Media & Entertainment Law Journal.
